Website privacy notice · Updated July 20, 2026

Privacy should be settled before a beta asks for trust.

This notice covers motusai.app. A separate notice covering the Motus iOS beta will be published before external TestFlight access begins.

Website only · no signup form

The current website has no signup form.

This site does not create accounts, accept journal entries, run advertising, or intentionally set analytics or marketing cookies. Vercel hosts the site and may process standard request information for delivery, security, and operational logs under its own infrastructure practices.

What is not final yet.

The iOS data flow is still being finalized. Before external TestFlight invitations open, this URL will publish a complete notice covering the exact release build: what the App stores on-device, what may leave the device, which AI or infrastructure providers receive it, why it is processed, how long it is kept, and how someone can inspect, correct, export, or delete it.

Our release commitments.

  • No journal text or personal context will be described as “private” unless the verified build and every processor support that statement.
  • If personal data is sent to a third-party AI provider, the App will identify the recipient and purpose before transmission and request clear consent.
  • The App Store privacy answers, this policy, the in-App explanation, and the actual build must describe the same data flow.
  • The release notice will name the responsible entity, third-party processors, retention periods, deletion route, and a working privacy contact.

Contact status.

A permanent privacy mailbox will be tested and published before external TestFlight access begins. Until then, people who received a private development invitation should use the same channel through which it was shared.

Product support status is kept on the support page.
